This was one of the instrumental tracks I recorded with The Tin Star for last years debut album The Surf 'n' Western Sounds of...that came out through Laughing Outlaw.
I wanted to put out an upbeat rock record at the time, so this track didn't seem to fit. But listening back recently I was pretty pleased with this recording, so I thought we'd share it with you fine folk. It used to be called Walk The Way, then I mis-said it one time and it came out as Walk The Waves, and that stuck. A much better title I think.
I have plans to re-record this tune with orchestral strings and mariachi trumpets one day. Lush! I also have lyrics for the song, so it will no doubt re-emerge in various different guises. But for now, we have this lovely version for your listening pleasure. Close your eyes and let this mini-epic film soundtrack play out in your mind.
